Fabric Friday

Keeping the stash small is hard work. Two friends are having babies and we wanted to give them something. As DH is very kind and supportive he agreed that me sewing some gifts was a good idea. We found some awesome fabrics for the wee ones, fishes and racing cars. The most recent plan is to make blankets and so we also got some yellow velour for the “wrong” side. I’m also making a mei tai because Mini wants to be carried a lot and is getting rather heavy.

This is what is in my fabric stash. I’m hoping to keep the fabric stash small in contrast to the yarn stash.

Top left: viscose jersey from tyg.se which I used for the Eva dress. Plan to make a Renfrew top (Sewaholic)  from what is left.

Bottom left: also a jersey from tyg.se. Not sure what to make but couldn’t resist buying some.

Right: wavy stripes from Stoff och stil. Have cut the fabric to make a dolman top but the fabric is too stiff and doesn’t drape well. Will make a Renfrew instead.
